Places to stop if you are driving from the east
Millworks | Art • Food • Brewery, Harrisburg, PA
Great halfway break stop if you are driving from NJ. Across the street from the Broad Street Market....
Broad Street Market, Harrisburg, PA
Locally-grown and organic produce, meats, baked goods, and freshly prepared meals. Over 40 vendors
The Cat's Meow, Manheim, PA.
Good little restaurant about 10 minutes off 76, right before Harrisburg, a little bit shorter than half way if you are coming from New Jersey. Not too far of a detour if you are coming from northern Jersey and taking 78.
The Jean Bonnet Tavern, Bedford, PA
Another nice stopping point, right off of 76, after Harrisburg, a over half way if you are coming from New Jersey.
Flight 93 Memorial
Last spring, on our way to divisionals, after having lunch at the Jean Bonnet Tavern, my daughter stopped by the Flight 93 memorial. It is very beautiful and touching memorial. What started as an unplanned detour, turned into a 3 hour visit. Well worth the stop.

Gaucho Parilla Agentina
A 10-15 minute drive/Uber/Lyft from the gym. Holy moly. No need to write a review. Just Google it. There's plenty on Yelp and Trip Advisor to back this one up. If it's cold when you go, dress warmly as you may be waiting in line for a bit. Line moves fast.
The Church Brew Works
A 10-15 minute drive/Uber/Lyft from the gym. Another holy moly. A former church converted to a restaurant/brewery. The menu is ridiculously huge and all that we have ever had has been great.
