USA Climbing (USAC) provides instruction, training, and certification to routesetters at various levels for competition routesetting. Since 2006, the USA Climbing Routesetting Committee (USAC RSC) has developed and managed the structure of the clinic instructional programs and certification system that USA Climbing now uses for sanctioned competition climbing. The USA Climbing Routesetting Committee is constantly working to further professionalize and standardize competition routesetting with an overall goal of increasing the quality and consistency of competition events and support the work of routesetters. The USA Climbing Routesetting Clinic and Certification Program (USAC RCCP) is managed by a Program Administrator in cooperation with the Chair of the Routesetting Committee and USA Climbing staff.
