USA Climbing is seeking qualified candidates for three new positions focused on continuing the growth of the sport and support of our athletes into the future. The positions are open immediately and provide an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to get involved in a fast-growing sport making its Olympic debut at the 2020 Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo.  

Sponsorship and Development Director – The Sponsorship and Development Director is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to elevate USA Climbing’s sponsorship, fundraising, and communications efforts. This position is critical to achieving future goals of the organization and will work closely with the CEO to support all that we do, including working closely with the soon to be formed USA Climbing Foundation. The Sponsorship and Development Director is a full-time with benefits position based in Salt Lake City, Utah at USA Climbing’s National Office.

Collegiate and Paraclimbing Series Manager – The Collegiate and Paraclimbing Series Manager is responsible for strategically planning and implementing actions to significantly advance these growing series. This position will work closely with the CEO and the existing Collegiate and Paraclimbing Committees to ensure clear and effective strategies are created and implemented to provide increased opportunities for development of athletes, officials, volunteers, and other stakeholders. Within Paraclimbing specifically, this position will work to advance the movement with an eye toward Paralympic inclusion in the future. The Collegiate and Paraclimbing Manager is a full-time position with benefits based in Salt Lake City, Utah at USA Climbing’s National Office.

Events Coordinator – This entry level position will work closely with USA Climbing’s Events team to ensure the highest quality USA Climbing Events. The position will require travel to numerous events throughout the U.S. and a keen attention to detail. The Events Coordinator position is a part time hourly position based in Salt Lake City, Utah at USA Climbing’s National Headquarters.
