USA Climbing is Seeking Proposals for Proposed Combined Invitational Championships

USA Climbing is considering the formation of a new National Championship level event: the Combined Invitational Championships. The proposed 2019 Combined Invitational Championships would feature all three climbing disciplines - Bouldering, Speed, Sport - and would mimic the Olympic Format that competitors will experience in the 2020 Olympic Games.

USA Climbing is interested in receiving proposals from interested parties that would like to host the proposed USA Climbing: Combined Invitational Championships in 2019.

All submissions / proposals are due to USA Climbing (documents@usaclimbing.org) by October 19, 2018 @ 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

Applicants should include:

  • Statement verifying that Event Organizer / Host Facility can or cannot accommodate on specific requirements as listed by USA Climbing in the below document
  • Appropriate / relevant supporting documents (photo / video / history)
  • Appropriate / relevant supporting statements (local government support, sponsor support, etc.)

USA Climbing will notify all applications of status (selected or not selected) by October 26, 2018.
