Inclement Weather Official Response: USA Climbing will not make any decisions pertaining to inclement weather until after all Bouldering Youth Regional Championships have concluded. We strongly encourage competitors and their families to be aware of the weather forecast in their area and in the area of their Home Regional Championship and plan accordingly, however we do not encourage any competitors or their families to put themselves in imminent danger in order to attend a USA Climbing sanctioned competition this weekend. If the weather prohibits a competitor from competing in the Bouldering Youth Regional Championships this weekend, the competitor should notify email@example.com no later than Saturday, December 9th at 11:59pm MST. The email communication should contain the competitors first and last name, home region, full address, team affiliation and evidence of inclement weather preventing the athlete from attending the competition. USA Climbing will work with the Judicial Committee to determine the appropriate course of action, should weather in some parts of the country necessitate this.
Below is a final list of Bouldering Youth Regional Championship registrants, in alphabetical order by last name. If your name is not on this list, you are not currently registered for Regionals. It is important to note that although competitors appearing on this list have registered for regionals, their eligibility has not yet been verified and therefore a competitor on this list will be contacted and their registration refunded if they have not met the eligibility requirements necessary to compete in the 2017 USA Climbing: Bouldering Youth Regional Championships.
If your name is not on this list, you have missed the registration deadline to compete in the Bouldering Youth Regional Championships but have a second opportunity to register for the competition with a late fee of $100.
Registration for Regionals will officially close on December 2nd at 11:59pm MST and USA Climbing will NOT accept any late or missed registration appeals if a competitor fails to register by this second registration deadline.
Bouldering Youth Regional Championships are open only to USA Climbing Competitor Members who:
- hold a current USA Climbing Competitor membership
- have competed in a minimum of, and received credit for, two Local competitions as a USA Climbing Competitor Member or USA Climbing DAY-Member
