About USA Climbing
USA Climbing is the national governing body of the sport of competition climbing in the United States. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we promote three competition disciplines, bouldering, sport and speed climbing, through our series:
- USA Climbing: Sport
- USA Climbing: Speed
- USA Climbing: Bouldering
- USA Climbing: Adaptive
USA Climbing receives sanctioning and is recognized by:
- The International Federation for Sport Climbing (IFSC - formerly known
as the International Council for Competition Climbing or the ICC)
- The International Olympic Committee (IOC)
- The United States Olympic Committee (USOC)
Please note that USA Climbing's policies and processes are currently being revised as needed to conform to USA Climbing's Amended & Restated Bylaws adopted on July 17, 2017. To promote the growth and success of the sport of competition climbing in the United States while generating sustained competitive excellence for United States athletes in international competition.
